The first producer to revitalize the historic practice of adding Sherry into whiskey created a new classification of American Whiskey: Kansas City Style. It’s a proprietary blend of Straight Rye, Light Corn Whiskey and Straight Bourbon, aged separately, with 15-year-old Oloroso Sherry from the William & Humbert Bodega, from one of the most revered wineries in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain’s legendary sherry producing region.

I've bought three bottles of this Kansas City Whiskey and shared it with friends to rave reviews. It has just the right amount of caramel nodes for a delicious but not overpowering bite. Don't mix this Whiskey. One cube of ice and thoroughly enjoy.
Thought I was a strictly Bourbon gal, but then I try this?
Corn, barley, malt up front. Caramel and sherry come on w the flavor lasting after swallowing. Stays with you up to half an hour. Could easily replace Woodford as my go-to whiskey. Remains to be seen whether it works as a Manhattan.
